The Mental Health Studio in Newmarket is a compassionate, client-centred clinic specializing in addiction treatment, counselling, and psychotherapy. We offer an intensive outpatient addiction day program for substance use, gambling, and other addictive behaviours. Our trauma-informed therapists provide counselling and psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, anger management, life transitions and a range of other personal and emotional challenges. Services are available in person in Newmarket and virtually across Ontario. Our clinic provides a Free family support group for individuals seeking support for a loved one navigating addiction.

C.A.R.E. is a structured, trauma-informed outpatient addiction recovery day program for women in York Region, designed for those whose substance use is no longer working but who do not need or want inpatient rehab. We provide in-person daytime support focused on stability, accountability, and compassionate care, helping women regain control and build a sustainable recovery.

The Men’s Virtual Addiction Program is a structured virtual outpatient addiction recovery program for men navigating substance use or addictive behaviours who need more than weekly therapy but do not require inpatient treatment.

Our Family Support Services provide a compassionate space for families to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges together. Whether your family is coping with addiction, mental health concerns, or relationship stress, we offer guidance and tools to help each member feel heard and supported.
Sessions consist of peer-support groups facilitated by counsellors, psychoeducation and practical assistance on case management.
We believe healing happens in connection. By working together, families can build resilience, deepen empathy, and create a foundation for lasting change.

Personalized Support for Substance Use and Mental Health
We offer addiction coaching for individuals in navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our one-on-one coaching provides personalized guidance, practical coping strategies, and accountability to help clients build stability, maintain progress, and move forward with confidence.
Addiction coaching can complement clinical treatment or serve as ongoing support for individuals who have completed a program and want to stay aligned with their recovery plan. Using a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, we empower clients to regain balance, clarity, and control in their lives, helping them stay on track and achieve long-term wellness.

Evidence-based psychotherapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) to support emotional healing, personal growth, and coping skills. Therapy is tailored to your unique needs, integrating approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

Our Child and Youth Counselling service supports children and teens in navigating life’s challenges in a safe, understanding, and nonjudgmental space. Through creative, age-appropriate approaches such as play, art, and talk therapy, we help young clients express themselves, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping skills.
Common areas of support include anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, family changes, school stress, and self-esteem.
We work collaboratively with both the child and their caregivers to promote understanding, strengthen communication, and foster positive growth, helping young people feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Our Walk-In Counselling service provides same-day access to professional support for those needing to talk, reflect, or find clarity. These single-session appointments offer a flexible and supportive way to address stress, anxiety, conflict, or other challenges, without the need for ongoing commitment.
Walk-in sessions are available every Wednesday and can be booked online the morning of through our website. Sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
